Sostenuto Choral Community of North Texas is a community-based group of musicians from various walks of life, ranging in age from 19 to 82. Music skills are diverse, and our group is committed to tackling all genres of choral music with integrity and quality musicianship. Artistic Director Cindy Johnston brings her talent and enthusiasm to every rehearsal, as the choir laughs, learns and makes beautiful music together. The very name is an apt description of this organization.

• Sostenuto is an adult community chorus of volunteer singers
• We rehearse on most Mondays during the school year
• Rehearsal location is First McKinney at 1615 W. Louisiana St.
• We perform two major concerts each season in December and May
• We also participate annually in the McKinney Veterans Day Ceremony in November
